of domain names is verified through a central global registry. The central registry prevents a domain name that is successfully
registered from being registered by another person or entity.
I’ve registered my domain name, what’s next?
There are many ways to use your domain name. The most common use of a domain name is for a web site may it be personal or for business.
Your domain name is also used to create personalized e-mail accounts, example yourname@yourdomain.com. You can also hold on to your
domain name for future use or at anytime decide to sell your domain name.
To use your domain name for your web site you will need to point your domain name to the servers your web site will be hosted on. This
is done by requesting the DNS from the ISP you will being hosting your web site with and changing the DNS settings. It takes approximately
24-48 hours for DNS settings to be updated when you provide the DNS settings for the first time.

When I type my domain name into my browser nothing comes up!
A domain name is not a web site, It's an address someone uses to find a web site. If you have a web site you need to change the DNS
settings for your domain name so it can point to the server where your web site is being hosted. Within 24-48 hours after you provide the
DNS settings, your web site will be accessible to anyone in the world to see, including you by typing your domain name into a browser.
